2001: age 8

  • Johanna began racing Go-Karts in tracks across the southeast where wins came early and often.

2006: age 13

  • Johanna moved up to Legend cars where she  raced at Sunny South Speedway in Mobile, AL.

2007: age 14

  • Johanna progressed to the Pro Late Models. This year was about getting seat time and gaining experience while also securing several strong finishes at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida and Mobile International Speedway in Mobile, AL.

2008: age 15

  • She became the youngest and first female Pro Late Model track champion at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL.
  • She also brought home wins from Mobile and Opp, AL.
  • She made her very first start at the prestigious Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway.

2009: age 16

  • In 38 starts, Johanna accumulated 5 wins, 18 top-five and 27 top-ten finishes at tracks all across the southeast.
  • Blizzard Series Champion in the Super Late Model cars at Five Flags Speedway.
  • First female to win the Sunoco Gulf Coast Championship in Super Late models.
  • Made two ARCA starts.
  • Snowball Derby Pole Sitter.

2010: age 17

  • Snowball Derby Champion.
  • Made 7 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) starts; three with Billy Ballew Motorsports and four with her then family-owned team, Panhandle Motorsports.

2011: age 18

  • She had 17 NCWTS starts with Panhandle Motorsports. Her best career start was 5th at Daytona International Speedway, and her best career finish was 11th at Texas Motor  Speedway.

2012: age 19

  • The youngest female to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. She will compete in 21 races with ML Motorsports starting at Daytona.
